Looking beautiful from above and clearly showing how Mudgee got its name, meaning "nest in the hills", these images are beautiful.
You also have to love where you live, when the highest standing structures are church spires. Not a single high rise to be seen.

I did not know echidnas could swim!
But I did know that Ganguddy-Dunns Swamp is a magical location and that kayaking with Southern Cross Kayaking is the best way to experience the magic, history and learn more about the cultural significance of the area 🦔💚
#echidnaSpring is one our favourite times at Ganguddy-Dunns Swamp in the Wollemi National Park.
There is so much going on with plants blooming and wildlife on the move, including echidnas crossing the river, like this one snapped by one of our guests in spring a couple of years ago (thank you Laura Baxter). What an amazing creature is the echidna: built in multifunctional insect vaccuum and snorkel!
We are missing being there and getting people out onto the water and back into nature. We'll be back as soon as it is possible and safe to do so, hopefully soon - we'll keep you posted.
Stay safe and well until then.
